Western Rosella
Platycercus icterotis
The smallest of the rosella family and restricted to the western side of the continent in the south west corner, this rosella causes probably the least damage in orchards, but like the rest it still can't resist the temptation of a fruit tree.
It is also the least aggressive of the family and is quite gentle in nature compared to the 28 with whom it shares the same habitat. The 28 will chase it away from any food source they come across.
It is not endangered and tends to hide during the day and is often undetected as it shelters.
